AdvancedController - BUTTONS AND FUNCTIONS

|
|
WINDOW
|
|
Tabs CONTROLLER 1 / 2 / 3 at the top: up to three controllers, each with
|
|
its own serial port, OPEN / CLOSE and everything below the tabs. The dot
|
|
next to the tab name: grey = port closed, red = port open but the
|
|
controller does not answer (no power, cable, wrong port), green =
|
|
connected. IDENTIFY: the gear led of that controller blinks fast for 3 s
|
|
so you can see which device the tab is talking to. HELP opens this file.
|
|
|
|
GENERAL
|
|
All adjustments act on the CURRENT camera (see CAMERA SELECT).
|
|
Mode buttons (BRIGHT, AGC, ZOOM, LED ON/OFF, crosshair edit, OSD menu)
|
|
enter a mode in which the arrow buttons act. One adjust mode is active at
|
|
a time; entering another mode leaves the previous one.
|
|
Virtual panel: click = press, hold 1.5 s = long press. The leds in the
|
|
window mirror the leds of the device (polled 5 times per second).
|
|
|
|
TOP ROW
|
|
LED ON/OFF (headlight) Manual lighting of the current camera. Press to
|
|
enter the mode, then UP/DOWN select the level:
|
|
off / 25 % / 75 % / 100 %. Press again to leave.
|
|
LED AUTO (headlight A) Automatic lighting of ALL channels from the
|
|
external 0-10 V input. Press again to disable.
|
|
Setting a manual level disables AUTO.
|
|
AGC (two rectangles) Gain mode: UP/DOWN = 0..20.
|
|
BRIGHT (sun) Brightness mode: UP/DOWN = 0..20.
|
|
ZOOM (magnifier) Digital zoom mode: UP/DOWN = 0..16.
|
|
MIRROR Toggle horizontal mirror.
|
|
FLIP Toggle vertical flip.
|
|
FOCUS (target) Crosshair initialisation of the current camera:
|
|
both crosshairs to the default position, all
|
|
masks off. Takes about 5 s. Press once per camera
|
|
after power-on, otherwise the crosshairs stay
|
|
invisible.
|
|
|
|
SECOND ROW
|
|
CAMERA RESET (3 sliders) All cameras to factory settings (preset 1).
|
|
Takes about 6 s; the button led blinks meanwhile.
|
|
LOAD 1 / LOAD 2 Load user preset 1 / 2 from the camera memory.
|
|
SAVE 1 / SAVE 2 Save the current camera settings to preset 1 / 2.
|
|
|
|
THIRD ROW
|
|
CROSSHAIR 1 / 2 Show / hide the crosshair on the current camera.
|
|
Long press: edit mode (button led blinks):
|
|
UP/DOWN move the horizontal line, LEFT/RIGHT the
|
|
vertical line; at a limit the arrow led blinks.
|
|
Long press again: leave edit mode. One crosshair
|
|
is edited at a time; a long press on the other
|
|
crosshair switches editing to it.
|
|
TEMPERATURE Show / hide the camera temperature on its OSD.
|
|
|
|
BOTTOM ROW
|
|
CAMERA SELECT (2 cams) Next camera: 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 1. Two leds show
|
|
the selection: cam 1 = on/off, cam 2 = off/on,
|
|
cam 3 = on/on, cam 4 = off/off.
|
|
GEAR Leave all adjust modes (arrow leds go off).
|
|
The gear led blinks twice with a 2 s pause while
|
|
the device is under remote control from a PC.
|
|
|
|
CROSS PAD
|
|
UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT Act in the active mode (see above) and in the
|
|
camera OSD menu.
|
|
ENTER In the OSD menu: select.
|
|
ENTER long (1.5 s) Open the camera OSD menu: arrows navigate, ENTER
|
|
selects. Long ENTER again leaves the mode on the
|
|
panel; the camera closes its menu by its own
|
|
rules.
|
|
|
|
HOW TO
|
|
Change the lighting of channel N: press CAMERA SELECT until the leds show
|
|
camera N, press LED ON/OFF, then UP/DOWN. From the PC: "CAM N",
|
|
"LED level".
|
|
Open the camera OSD: hold ENTER for 1.5 s, then use the arrows and ENTER.
|
|
Reset all cameras: press CAMERA RESET (3 sliders) or send RESET from the PC.
|
|
Light tower: green = normal; red + beeper = a camera at 65 C or above;
|
|
fan = controller CPU at 50 C or above.
